"WHY IS THERE SCHOOL SHOOTING?". "HOW CAN THAT BE POSSIBLE?". Many peoples are asking these questions. And there is only one answer..."THE TEN COMMANDMENTS"

When a nation forget/disregard/eliminate "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS", then the nation will reap what they sow.

Exo 20:13
Thou shalt not kill. [LO TIR TSAKH]

The Jewish sages note that the Hebrew word “RATSAKH” applies only to ILLEGAL KILLING (PREMEDITATED MURDER or MANSLAUGHTER). It is NEVER used in the administration of justice or for killing in war.


MAN [ADAM] is made in the image of God, his life is infinitely precious. Only God Himself has the right to give and take life. In the MISHNAH it is written, “Why was MAN [ADAM] created in the image of God? It is to teach that whoever takes a single life destroys thereby a whole world.”

The TALMUD notes that shaming another publicly is like murder, since the shame causes the blood to leave the face. Moreover, gossip or slander are considered murderous to the dignity of man. The sages state, “The evil tongue slays three persons: the utterer of the evil, the listener, and the one spoken about…”

Lord YESHUA also linked the ideas of our words and attitudes with murder (see Mat 15:19).

Remember :
"When a nation forget/disregard/eliminate "THE TEN COMMANDMENTS", then the nation will reap what they sow." This is what happen in the U.S and to be example to other nations on Earth.

NOTE :
* They VIOLATED the TORAH.
* They PROFANED the holy things.
* They PUT NO DIFFERENCE between the holy and the profane.
* They SHEW NO DIFFERENCE between clean and unclean.
* They DISOBEYED the Biblical Feasts (Shabbats).

Let us examine...is today Christianity like this?

* They DISREGARD the TORAH, by saying the TORAH was abolished already.
* They PROFANED the holy things.


* They PUT NO DIFFERENCE between the holy and the profane. They make statues, Christmas tree, Santa Claus and etc.
* They SHEW NO DIFFERENCE between clean and unclean. They eat pork, shrimp, crab and etc. They disregard the commandments in Lev 11 about Biblical Dietary System.* They DISOBEYED the Biblical Feasts (Shabbats). They celebrate the pagas feasts like Christmas, Easter, Good Friday and etc. They disregard the commandments in Lev 23 about the Biblical Feasts.

Therefore...

Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the LORD God.

* Mereka TIDAK mengajarkan perbedaan yang najis dengan yang tahir. Pola makan mereka BERTENTANGAN dengan di Imamat 11.
* Mereka MENUTUP MATA terhadap hari-hari Sabat-Ku. Mereka MELUPAKAN hari raya-hari raya di Imamat 23 dan malah merayakan hari raya-hari raya berhala seperti Natal, Jumat Agung dan Easter.

Who are YESHUA's brethren? The JEWISH people.

Look at Cornelius in Acts 10. He was a GENTILE but always gave to the JEWISH people.

Act 10:1-2

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much ALMS [ελεημοσυνη - DONATIONS] to the people, and prayed to God alway.

And God replied back to Cornelius.

Act 10:4

And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine ALMS are come up for a memorial before God.

NOTE :

HOW YOU RESPOND TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE WILL DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE.

Do you know that YESHUA was addressed by everybody as a RABBI?

Natan'El's (Nathanael) testimony is very powerful. He acknowledged YESHUA as :
1. RABBI.
2. SON OF GOD.
3. KING OF ISRAEL.

And because of Natan'El statement of faith, Natan'El was known as : TRUE SON OF ISRAEL / TRUE ISRAEL.

YESHUA saw Natan'el coming toward him and remarked about him, "Here's a TRUE SON OF ISRA'EL - nothing false in him

YESHUA saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an ISRAELITE, in whom is no guile!

The word RABBI [רַב - RAB] means MASTER; CAPTAIN; CHIEF; LORD; AN ARCHER WHO SHOOT AN ARROW.

The word SHOOT in Hebrew is [יָרָה - YARAH] which is the root of the word [תֹרָה - TORAH]

If we believe YESHUA as RABBI, that means we believe YESHUA as a CHIEF / MASTER in TORAH.

Is there any RABBI abolish the TORAH? 

If you believe in YESHUA, you acknowledge Him as a RABBI, SON OF GOD and KING OF ISRAEL. 

If you believe in YESHUA as SON OF GOD, but do NOT acknowledge Him as RABBI and KING OF ISRAEL, do NOT observe the TORAH as YESHUA did, then you are not TRUE SON OF ISRAEL, SON OF ISAAC, SON OF ABRAHAM.

Pro 28:9 
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the LAW [תֹרָה - TORAH], even his prayer shall be ABOMINATION.

The election results just showed us exactly where the country's morals are. It's very, very scary.  Same- sex marriages approved, abortion approved, marijuana approved, etc. America is becoming more liberal, more secular, more hostile to Biblical values. From "In God we trust" to "In God's opponent we trust". From "obedience" to "disobedience".

It's an ABOMINATION. It's OBAMAMINATION!

I'm grieving...but will prepare. We need to prepare ourselves both for the possibility that God will judge U.S. and the world. That means the Rapture is coming soon...be prepared, be holy. God is sovereign.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

For modern Christians, TORAH-lifestyle is actually a SETBACK. In their minds, they say, "If we are living under the GRACE of the New Covenant now, then to live TORAH-lifestyle is a setback".

Is this true?

To be able to answer "TORAH LIFESTYLE - A SETBACK or A PROGRESS?", we must study the history of Christianity. And here are some facts about them from the Bible :

1. 
The first disciples of YESHUA were all Jewish.
Act 4:13 
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Yeshua/Jesus.

2. 
The Jewish Believers in YESHUA were recognized as "THE FOLLOWERS OF THE WAY".
Act 9:1-2
But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the High Priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to THE WAY, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

NOTE :
The Jewish Believers in YESHUA were recognized as :
#. THE FOLLOWERS OF THE WAY" or [הדֶּׁרֶך - HA'DEREKH].
#. NAZARENE [הַנָּצְרִים - HA'NOTZRIM].
#. MESSIANIC BELIEVERS [מַאֲמִין מְשִׁיחִים - MA'AMIN MESHICIM].

3. 
All the Jewish Believers in YESHUA were NEVER called as "CHRISTIANS". Never! Then there was a Gentile, an Italian. His name was Cornelius. Although he was a Gentile (non-Jews), his lifestyle was TORAH-lifestyle.

Act 10:1-4 
At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort, a DEVOUT [ευσεβησ - EUSEBES] man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God.

The word "DEVOUT" originally was from Greek word [ευσεβησ - EUSEBES] G2152, which means "GODLY". WHen a man is said "DEVOUT", it means "HE LIVES GODLY LIFE" or "ACCORDING TO THE TORAH".

Act 22:12 
And one Ananias, a DEVOUT man according to the TORAH, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there. 

NOTE :
Cornelius was a Gentile, he was NON-Jews, he was Italian, but...he had a TORAH-lifestyle.

4.
Acts chapter 10 is telling us about a Gentile Believer in YESHUA, name Cornelius. And Acts chapter 11 is telling us about  all the Gentile Believers in YESHUA. As the amount of the Jewish Believers in YESHUA were increasing, so were the amount of the Gentile Believers in YESHUA. In act 11:26, the Gentile Believers in YESHUA were called "CHRISTIANS".

Act 11:26 
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called CHRISTIANS [χριστιανοσ - KRISTIANOS] first in Antioch. 

Antioch is a Gentile city. The people in the city were pagan people. They worshiped gods and goddesses. But not all the Gentile in the city were pagan. Some of the Gentile in Antioch were Believers in YESHUA. These Gentile Believers in YESHUA in Antioch were called CHRISTIANS [χριστιανοσ - KRISTIANOS] by the pagan people in Antioch.

The word CHRISTIANS [χριστιανοσ - KRISTIANOS] was used to describe Gentile Believers in YESHUA in Antioch.

Knowing that there were Gentile Believers in YESHUA in Antioch, then come a prophet from Jerusalem to Antioch, they were Jews.

Act 11:27 
And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

In Acts chapter 15, it is telling us that the eldest in Jerusalem sent letters to the Gentile Believers in Antioch.

Act 15:20-21 
But that we write unto them, that they ABSTAIN FROM POLLUTIONS OF IDOLS, and FROM FORNICATION, and FROM THINGS STRANGLED, and from BLOOD. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that PREACH him, BEING READ in the synagogues EVERY SHABBAT DAY (PARASHAH / TORAH READING EVER SHABBAT).

Then Judas and Silas went to Antioch to give the letter.

Act 15:27-32 
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye ABSTAIN FROM MEATS OFFERED TO IDOLS, and from BLOOD, and from THINGS STRANGLED, and from FORNICATION: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle: Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation. And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them

So the CHRISTIANS [χριστιανοσ - KRISTIANOS] in Antioch, they had 4 things to be abstain of, and every SHABBAT they went to synangogue to study the PARASHAH / TORAH READING EVERY SHABBAT.

NOTE :
"The Gentile Believers" in Antioch, they had similar lifestyle as their brother "The Jewish Believers". They BELIEVE in YESHUA and they were all ZEALOUS of the TORAH. 

Act 21:20 
And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which BELIEVE; and they are all ZEALOUS of the TORAH:

These 2 societies (Jewish Believers in YESHUA and Gentile Believers in YESHUA) were together until the anti-Semitism rised. The anti-Semitism is anti-TORAH, anti-Jews, anti-Judaism.

Anti-Semitism was developed by the church father, started from between 1st century and 3rd century.

Marcion of Sinope (110-160 AD) was a Hellenist steeped in the ideas of Plato and Gnosticism and wanted to separate Christianity from any connection with Judaism and the TORAH.
    
Justin Martyr (100-165 AD), an early Christian apologist, wrote his "Dialogue with Trypho the Jew" in which he claimed that God's covenant with Israel was no longer valid, and that the Gentiles had replaced them.
    
Tertullian (160-220 AD) was another Gentile Christian apologist who blamed the Jews for the death of Jesus.
    
Origen (263-339 AD) founded a school in Alexandria Egypt that taught the allegorical interpretation of Scripture. Origen was heavily influenced by neo-Platonic Gnosticism. He was also an antisemite who accused the Jews of plotting to kill Christians.
    
Eusebius (263-339 AD) wrote an influential history of the church that blamed the calamities which befell the Jewish nation on the Jews' role in the death of Jesus.
    
John Chrysostom (344-407 AD) denounced Jews in a series of sermons to Christians who were taking part in Jewish festivals and other Jewish observances.
    
Jerome (347-420 AD) produced the Latin translation of the Bible which became the official bible of the "Catholic Church." He said, "Jews are incapable of understanding Scripture and should be severely punished until they confess the true faith."
    
Augustine of Hippo (354-430 AD) spiritualized the kingdom of God and introduced amillennial thinking into the Gentile Church. Augustine maintained that the Jews deserved death but were destined to wander the earth to witness the victory of "Church" over "Synagogue".

8.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT :

#. The CHRISTIANS [χριστιανοσ - KRISTIANOS] in Act 11:26 had a TORAH-lifestyle, but then the church fathers changed it to anti-TORAH. The result today is : 
CHRISTIANS, they are now blind about the TORAH; they are STRANGE to the TORAH; they become anti-TORAH, anti Jews, anti-Semite.

Is this a SET BACK? Yes!

The Great Commission of YESHUA is : "TO TEACH; TO GIVE INSTRUCTIONS; TO GIVE TORAH TO THE NATIONS"

Mat 28:19-20 
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

But today...

Most of CHRISTIANS today are NOT observing the TORAH.

Is this a SETBACK? Yes!

#. The MESSIANIC movement today is to bring the TORAH back to Believers. Is it a SETBACK? No!

After all the deviations from the WAY, the RETURNING or TESHUVAH to the WAY is NOT a SETBACK. But it is a PROGRESS.

TORAH-lifestyle is a PROGRESS to return to the WAY, return to the Great Commision. It is NOT a SETBACK. 

TENSION BETWEEN SUDAN - ISRAEL - GOG AND MAGOG PROPHECY

The tension between Sudan - Israel is rising after the mystery explosion in the military factory at Yarmouk Complex, Sudan. It is said that "4 unidentified aircrafts came from the East before the explosion".

Could it lead to the fulfillment of prophecy in Ezekiel 38:5 where Sudan, Iran, Libya will be together in the Battle Gog and Magog?

The Hebrew word [כושׁ - KUS] is actually refers to the KINGDOM OF KUSH. The KINGDOM OF KUSH or KUSH was an ancient African state situated on the confluences of the Blue Nile, White Nile and River Atbara in what is now the REPUBLIC OF SUDAN.

Gen 9:22
And Ham, the father of Canaan, SAW THE NAKEDNESS OF HIS FATHER, and told his two brethren without.
Gen 9:23
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
Gen 9:24
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him
Gen 9:25 
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Gen 9:26 
And he said, Blessed be Y-H-V-H God of Shem; And Canaan shall be his servant.

The question :
We know that Ham had sin, but then why did Noah curse Canaan instead of Ham?

Answer :
There are 3 possibilities of answer.

1.
Based on the TARGUM ONQELOS (an Aramaic translation of the Bible dating from the first few centuries AD), Ham gossiped about his father's drunken disgrace "publicly". So Noah had become a public mockery. This was what had angered Noah.

But this doesn't answer why Noah cursed Canaan, instead of Ham.

2.
Based on BABYLONIAN TALMUD - SANHEDRIN 70A (dating around 500 AD), it is said that "TO SEE SOMEONE'S NAKEDNESS" meant "TO HAVE SEX WITH THAT PERSON".

Gen 9:22
And Ham, the father of Canaan, SAW [רָאָה - RA'AH] THE NAKEDNESS OF HIS FATHER, and told his two brethren without.

Example :

Gen 34:2
And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, SAW [רָאָה - RA'AH] her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.

Lev 20:17
And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and SEE [רָאָה - RA'AH] HER NAKEDNESS, and she SEE [רָאָה - RA'AH] HIS NAKEDNESS; it is a WICKED THING; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

In Gen 9:22, it explains that Ham either castrated his father, or sodomised him.

The same explanations are found in three Greek translations of the Bible, which replace the word "SEE" in verse 22 with another word denoting HOMOSEXUAL RELATION.

If Ham castrated Noah so that Noah couldn't bear the 4th son, then it could be understood why Noah cursed Canaan, Ham's son.

3.
Based on modern scholars and rabbis, they said that to "TO SEE THE NAKEDNESS OF MAN" or "TO UNCOVER THE NAKEDNESS OF MAN" means "TO HAVE SEX WITH THAT MAN'S WIFE".

Lev 20:11
And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath UNCOVERED HIS FATHER'S NAKEDNESS: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them

If Ham had sex with his mother, and Canaan was the product of this forbidden union, it could explain why the curse falls on his son.

Which one is the closest answer? It's your own decision.

There were GIANTS [נְפִלים - NEPHILIM] in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the SONS OF GOD [בני האלהים - B'NEI HA'ELOHIM] came in unto the DAUGHTERS OF MEN [בנות האדם - B'NOT HA'ADAM], and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.



NEPHILIM, who are they?

The NEPHILIM were the offspring of the "SONS OF GOD" and the "DAUGHTERS OF MEN" according to Genesis 6:4. They were gigantic men who inhabited Canaan according to Numbers 13:33.

Num 13:33
And there we saw the GIANTS [נְפִלים - NEPHILIM] the sons of Anak, which come of the GIANTS  [נְפִלים - NEPHILIM] and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

A similar biblical Hebrew word with different vowel-sounds is used in Ezekiel 32:27 to refer to dead.

The word NEPHILIM [נְפִלים] probably derives from the Semitic root NPL [נָפַל] which means "TO FALL" which also includes "TO CAUSE TO FALL".

The Brown-Driver-Briggs Lexicon gives the meaning as "GIANTS".
Adam Clarke took it as passive, "FALLEN", "APOSTATE".
Ronald Hendel states that it is a passive form "ONES WHO HAVE FALLEN".

There is a book, call a Book of Enoch. This book was used during the Second Temple Judaism. The Book of Enoch is an ancient Jewish religious work, traditionally ascribed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. Although tt is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, it is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox and Eritrean Orthodox group.

In the Book of Enoch, it is said :
"[Chapter 6]
1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaq1el, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens."

According to these texts, the fallen angels who begat the NEPHILIM were cast into Tartarus (Greek Enoch 20:2), a place of ''total darkness''.

In the Book of Jubilees, (Hebrew: ספר היובלים - Sepher hayYobelim), sometimes called Lesser Genesis (Leptogenesis), is an ancient Jewish religious work, also states that God granted ten percent of the disembodied spirits of the nephilim to remain after the flood, as demons, to try to lead the human race astray until the final Judgment.

In addition to Enoch, the Book of Jubilees (7:21–25) also states that ridding the Earth of these NEPHILIM was one of God's purposes for flooding the Earth in Noah's time. These works describe the NEPHILIM as being evil GIANTS.

Targum Pseudo-Jonathan identifies the NEPHILIM as Shemihaza and the angels in the name list from 1 Enoch.[18] b Yoma 67, PRE22 and 1 QapGen ar ii 1 also identify the NEPHILIM as the angels that FELL.

In the New Testament Epistle of Jude 14–15 cites from 1 Enoch 1:9, which many scholars believe is based on Deuteronomy 33:2. To most commentators this confirms that the author of Jude regarded the Enochic interpretations of Genesis 6 as correct.

What was the background of Yeshua's family? How did they live their lives? Did they live as TORAH observance family? 

Let us study together.

It is logical to look at Yeshua's family background so we can see how Yeshua was brought up. If His family was TORAH-observant, then we should expect that Yeshua would have been TORAH-observant as well.

Let us read in the book of Luke.

Luk 2:21
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called YESHUA, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
Luk 2:22 
And when the days of her purification according to the TORAH of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to Y-H-V-H;
Luk 2:23
(As it is written in the TORAH of Y-H-V-H, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to Y-H-V-H;

In Luke 2:21-23, Yeshua and His family fulfilled the mitzvah of circumcision as found in Exodus 13:2; 11-16 and Leviticus 12:1-8.

Joseph and Miriam (Mary) as a parent, they observed the TORAH.

Baby YESHUA was circumcised on the 8th day, and was given a Name; YESHUA. This is according to the mitzvot of the Mosaic and Abrahamic Covenant.

Luk 2:24
And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the TORAH of Y-H-V-H, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

In Luke 2:24 we can see how Joseph and Miriam (Mary) observerd the TORAH as in Leviticus 12:8.

Lev 12:8
And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

Here is one clear fact of the TORAH-observant ways of Yeshua's family.

Then in Luke 2:25.

Luk 2:25
And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was TZADDIK and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

The word TZADDIK is a Hebrew word [צַדִיק] which means RIGHTEOUS or A STRICT TORAH-OBSERVANT JEW.

From Luke 2:25 we understand that the Holy Spirit is only upon them who are TZADDIK. Why? Because Holy Spirit is describes as DOVE, in Hebrew is TOR. And TORAH is a REVELATION OF THE DOVE / HOLY SPIRIT.

If we read Luke 2:25, we understand that it is IMPOSSIBLE that a TZADDIK man like Simeon in Luke 2:25 would bless the Messiah in Luke 2:28 if the Messiah was not going to be TORAH-observant. A TZADDIK would not give this blessing to a TORAH-ignorant person.


Then in Luke 2:39.


Luk 2:39
And when they had performed all things according to the TORAH of Y-H-V-H, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.

This is a FACT that as a family, Joseph and Miriam (Mary) were careful to fulfill all the mitzvot of the TORAH regarding the birth, ritual cleansing period, circumcision and sacrifices for their new born son.


From this fact we know how the atmosphere was in which Yeshua was raised. His family was a normal family for a Galilean Jewish family of that period. Yeshua grew up as a TORAH-obervant child and youth.


At age 12, we find Yeshua fulfilling a mitzvah of the TORAH with His family to come to Jerusalem.


Luk 2:41 
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 
Luk 2:42 
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

The family fulfilled the mitzvah in Exodus 23:14-15 and in Deutoronomy 16:16.


Exo 23:14 
Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 
Exo 23:15 
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:

Deu 16:16 
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:

Then in Luke 2:46-47 we see that Yeshua was discussing the TORAH with rabbis.

On the third day they found him- he was sitting in the Temple court among the rabbis, not only listening to them but questioning what they said; 
Luk 2:47 
and everyone who heard him was astonished at his insight and his responses.


We don't know who these rabbis were. But they could be Hillel, Shammai or even Rabban Gamli'El (Sha'ul teacher). But, no matter who these rabbis actually were, we know that the discussion took 3 days. A 3 days discussion, it would had discussed the whole aspects in the TORAH and it shows us how deep it was the knowledge of Yeshua regarding the TORAH and also it shows how strong the family background of Yeshua regarding the TORAH.

So the question now is :
If Yeshua was raised in this kind of family who has strong observance of the TORAH, how can we say that Yeshua was anti-TORAH?

What is MESSIANIC JUDAISM?

* MESSIANIC JUDAISM is a movement among the Jewish people and the Gentiles who are grafted in to them who believe that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel, the Lord, Ben Elohim and the Savior of the world. Yeshua is the most Jewish of Jews. Yeshua was a descendant of both Abraham and King David, He was raised in a Jewish family and went to synagogue. He perfectly kept the entire TORAH. He taught that He came to make the TORAH complete, He did not abolish the TORAH (see Matthew 5:17-19). He was a Rabbi who performed unparalleled miracles, bringing great blessing to the nation of Israel. All His early disciples also lived very Jewish lives. The Messianic movement is entirely Jewish, and continued to exist as an authentic Jewish movement for 700 years after Yeshua’s death and resurrection. Messianic Jews have not stopped being Jewish. On the contrary, we remain strongly Jewish in our identity and lifestyle! The Tanakh (the Hebrew Scriptures) provides the foundation of our Jewish faith, and the New Covenant Scriptures (which were also written by Jews) the completion of our Jewish faith.

The New Covenant brings the Good News / Gospel that we can observe the TORAH in Yeshua's definition. Not by other rabbis definitions. This is the Good News.

Since in MESSIANIC JUDAISM we do not abolish the TORAH, we observe the Shabbat and all the Biblical FEASTS. All of these are about Yeshua the Jewish Messiah and the Savior of the world.

We observe the TORAH because we love Y-H-V-H and love Yeshua our Messiah, Ben Elohim (see John 14:15 and John 14:21). We do NOT observe the TORAH for salvation.

We believe in Yeshua's death and resurrection. He died and rose again to atone for our sins, so that we can enter into His Covenant relationship with God. We believe that Yeshua ascended to the right hand of God the Father and is coming back to Earth to reign from Jerusalem over Israel and all the nations of the world in MESSIANIC Kingdom. At that time the fullness of the His Covenant will be realized.

We believe that YESHUA is the LIVING TORAH. We believe that RUACH HA'KODESH is Spirit of Y-H-V-H. The teaching of RUACH HA'KODESH is never against the teaching of TORAH, the LIVING TORAH. In fact, RUACH HA'KODESH will remind all the teaching of the LIVING TORAH (see John 14:26-27).

We believe the authority of the Hebrew Scripture and the New Covenant. We believe that Rabbi Sha'ul of Tarsus is a good Rabbi who follow the footstep of YESHUA the Messiah. All the teaching of Rabbi Sha'ul is never against the TORAH, in fact he established the authority of the TORAH.

"Do we then make void the TORAH through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the TORAH." (Romans 3:31).

We always be careful to study the writing of Rabbi Sha'ul, because if we miss intepret it, it will bring destruction.

"As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." (2Peter 3:16).

What is CHRISTIAN HELLENISM?

*CHRISTIAN HELLENISM is a movement among the Gentiles who mix Hellenistic philosophy and CHRISTIANITY. It refers to the complex interaction between Hellenistic philosophy and early CHRISTIANITY during the first four centuries AD.

As CHRISTIANITY spread throughout the Hellenic world, an increasing number of church leaders / church fathers were educated in Greek philosophy. The dominant philosophical traditions of the Greco-Roman world at the time were Stoicism, Platonism, and Epicureanism. Stoicism and particularly Platonism were readily incorporated into CHRISTIAN ethics and CHRISTIAN theology.

CHRISTIAN assimilation of Hellenic philosophy was anticipated by Philo and other Greek-speaking Alexandrian Jews. Philo's blend of Judaism, Platonism, and Stoicism strongly influenced CHRISTIAN Alexandrian writers like Origen and Clement of Alexandria, as well as, in the Latin world, Ambrose of Milan.

One early CHRISTIAN writer of the 2nd and early 3rd century, Clement of Alexandria, demonstrated Greek thought in writing,

"Philosophy has been given to the Greeks as their own kind of Covenant, their foundation for the philosophy of Christ ... the philosophy of the Greeks ... contains the basic elements of that genuine and perfect knowledge which is higher than human ... even upon those spiritual objects." (Miscellanies 6. 8)

The Church historian Eusebius suggested, essentially, that Greek philosophy had been supplied providentially as a preparation for the Gospel. Augustine of Hippo, who ultimately systematized CHRISTIAN philosophy, wrote in the 4th and early 5th century,

But when I read those books of the Platonists I was taught by them to seek incorporeal truth, so I saw your 'invisible things, understood by the things that are made' (Confessions 7. 20).

They do NOT observe the TORAH, they believe the TORAH was nailed and destroyed in the Cross. They do NOT observe the Shabbat and do NOT observe the Biblical FEASTS.

But on the other hand, they observe the pagan feast of Good Friday, Easter, Christmas.

They do NOT observe KASHRUT or the Biblical Diet.

As they always say, they are flowing with the spirit, and they are revelation oriented rather than Scripture oriented. They never double check the revelation of the spirit with the Scripture, and as a result, there are many denominations.

They promote FEEL GOOD theology rather than TORAH.

The word Ha’azinu (האזינו) literally means “give ear,” an expression meaning “Listen to this.” It is also the name of the fifty-third and second-to-last reading from the Torah. It is the first word of the Song of Moses, which begins with the words “Give ear (Ha’azinu), O heavens, and let me speak” (Deuteronomy 32:1). This Torah portion is only a single chapter long, and the majority of it consists of the Song of Moses. The Song of Moses is a prophetic oracle warning Israel about apostasy to come and the resulting wrath of God. The song looks far into the future, even envisioning the Messianic advent amid rich and frightening apocalyptic imagery. After the conclusion of the song, Moses is told to ascend Mount Nebo and overlook the Promised Land before dying.

Rab Yehudah said, “The day when rain falls is as great as the day when the Torah was given, as it is said [in Deuteronomy 32:2], ‘Let my teaching drop as the rain.’ [When Moses said] “teaching”, he meant Torah, as it is said of the Torah [in Proverbs 4:2] “For I give you sound teaching; do not abandon my Torah.” (b.Ta’anit 7a).

Rabbi Chanina ben Ida said, “Why are the words of the Torah likened unto water [in Isaiah 55:1], ‘Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters.’? This is to teach you that just as water flows from a higher place to a low place, so too the words of the Torah ...” (b.Ta’anit 7a)

When water is in the heavens, though it is vapor in the form of the clouds, it is still, in its basic essence, water. As it descends in the form of rain, it is still water. When it arrives on the earth as falling rain, it is still water. It is the same in heaven and on earth, though its form might be different. Whether in the form of clouds in heaven or pooling up in streams and rivers on earth, at every stage water is water. So too with Torah in its descent from the heavens. In the heavens it is Torah, and here on earth it is Torah. Its essence remains Torah.

The Torah of Moses has descended to us in a form we can understand and comprehend. The ineffable word of God has taken on the garments of human language so that we might hear and understand. It has come in the form of laws and commandments so that we might speak it and do the Word of God. When we do it, we are allowing God’s word to clothe itself in the garments of our human flesh. We are actually incarnating the word of God on earth.

That which began in the heaven as the unsearchable and unknowable word of God has descended like rain, like water, to the level of the earth where it waters the grass and plants that soak it up and incorporate it into their being. Through this connection, heaven and earth are united.

We read in the gospel of John that the Word (Logos) is God. It is not another God or something different than Him, but it is Him. And yet, through some inexplicable miracle, the Word descends to the earth and takes on the garments of human flesh—a real human being—Yeshua of Nazareth, forming a connection between heaven and earth. Yeshua spoke the words of His Father and kept His commandments. He clothed them in the garments of His body. He is the Word made flesh, the Living Torah. He is the living Word of God united with the substance of earth, but His essence remained the same on earth as it was in heaven.
