Shabbat "I will greatly rejoice"
"שבת שוש אשיש Shabbat Sos Asis" is the 7th Shabbat of "7 Shabbats of Comfort" leading up to Rosh HaShanah. This 7th Shabbat takes its name from the haftarah portion of the Book of Isaiah 61:10 that speaks of "comforting" the Jewish people from their suffering. It speaks of the reconciliation process of the Jewish people with HaShem, it prophecies of the reconciliation process of the Jewish people and the Jewish Mashiach, before High Holidays in the month of Tishri.
It is the 7th haftarah of 7 haftarot (haftarahs) of consolation leading up to the holiday of Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year.
Shabbat Sos Asis begins at sundown on Friday, 11 September 2015.
