Deu 4:2 - Ye shall NOT ADD unto the word which I command you, NEITHER shall ye DIMINISH ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

  1. All the New Testament writers like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter etc lived when the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) was the only BOOK they had. All the New Testament books were being written. Even the Revelation Book was written around the year 90 AD.

    Now...

We all know that they were all Jews. Judaism was their faith. They knew the Word in Deu 4:2...NOT TO ADD and NOT TO DIMINISH the Hebrew Bible (Torah-Nevi'im and Ketuvim / Tanakh).

When they were writing the New Testament books...they should had based their writings on Deu 4:2...NOT TO ADD and NOT TO DIMINISH the Tanakh.

I will use simple word :

All the New Testament books were written and made based on the commandment in Deu 4:2. The New Testament books would never be against the Hebrew Bible. The New Testament books are actually JEWISH books.
