As we live overseas, we always 2 times zones. Our original time zone, and our current time zone. We also always have 2 calendars, the calendar where we are living and the calendar where we come from. It's not new to us.
As a Netzarim family (a family who follow Nazarenes/Messianic Judaism), we use 2 calendars also. First is the calendar that our Messiah Yeshua used before, which is Hebraic Calendar and the second is the Gregorian Calendar.
As in the Hebraic Calendar, we already entered the year of 5774 (HEY-TAV-SHIN-AYIN-DALET) since the feast of YOM TERU'AH (ROSH HA'SHANAH) on 1 TISHRI 5774 (5 SEPTEMBER 2013), which is the YEAR BEFORE "SHEMITAH", which is the 6th YEAR. Next the year 5775 is "SHEMITAH", the 7th YEAR.
Regarding the 6th YEAR (5774), Ha'Shem says:
Leviticus 25:21 - Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
then I will order my BLESSING on you during the SIXTH YEAR, so that the land brings forth enough produce for all three years.
The year 5774 is also the year of H’ayo (HEY) - T’ihyeh (TAV) - Sh’nat (SHIN) - A’liyat (AYIN) - Da'at (DALET), “It shall surely be a year of the ascent of DA’AT”. DA’AT means KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF G-D.
Now, within few hours, we will be leaving the year 2013 and will be entering the year 2014, which is the year 5774 (HEY-TAV-SHIN-AYIN-DALET), the year of BLESSING (Lev 25:21) of DA'AT (KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF G-D).
So, please allow us to wish you all a prosperous and blessed year 2014. B'ahavah and b'rachot bamashiach Yeshua Adoneinu.
