PROSESI PERNIKAHAN YAHUDI KUNO DAN RAPTURE

PROSESI PERNIKAHAN YAHUDI KUNO DAN RAPTURE
Andre Widodo
© ORI

Shalom,

URUTAN KE-1: SELEKSI "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]"
=================================

Yoh 15:16 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-2: HARGA SEORANG "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]"
========================================

1 Pet 1:18 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1 Pet 1:19 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1 Kor 7:23 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-3: KETUBAH [
===========================
KETUBAH]" adalah "PERJANJIAN PERSETUJUAN".

Di dalam PROSESI PERNIKAHAN YAHUDI KUNO, sebelum memasuki PERNIKAHAN maka "[חָתָן - CHATAN]" dan "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]" membuat sebuah "[כְּתוּבָּה - KETUBAH]".

KETUBAH]" adalah semacam sebuah "PERTUNANGAN RESMI".

Apakah yang menjadi "[כְּתוּבָּה - KETUBAH]"?

Yer 31:31 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Yer 31:32 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Yer 31:33 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Yer 31:34 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-4: PERSETUJUAN DARI "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]"
==========================================
Walaupun "[חָתָן - CHATAN]" sudah memilih "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]", walaupun "[חָתָן - CHATAN]" sudah membeli "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]", walaupun "[כְּתוּבָּה - KETUBAH]" sudah dibuat, tetapi hal ini tidak akan lengkap jika tidak mendapat PERSETUJUAN DARI "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]" sendiri.

Kej 24:57 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Kej 24:58 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-5: CAWAN PERJANJIAN
=============================

Luk 22:20 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Mat 26:29 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-6: PEMBERIAN KASIH
============================
Setelah kedua pihak meminum CAWAN PERJANJIAN  "[כְּתוּבָּה - KETUBAH]", maka pihak "[כַּלָּה - KALLAH]" menerima PEMBERIAN KASIH dari pihak "[חָתָן - CHATAN]".

Kej 24:53 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Yoh 14:26 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-7: MIKVAH
===================

Mar 16:16 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-8: SAATNYA "[חָתָן - CHATAN]" PERGI
=======================================
Setelah semua PROSESI "[כְּתוּבָּה - KETUBAH]" selesai, maka kini saatnya "[חָתָן - CHATAN]" pergi untuk mempersiapkan semua PROSESI PERNIKAHAN pada HARI-H nanti.

Sama halnya, YESHUA mengatakan:

Yoh 14:2 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-9: MASA PENANTIAN
===========================

2 Pet 3:3 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

2 Pet 3:4 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Mat 24:36 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Mrk 13:32 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE-10: KEMBALINYA SANG "[חָתָן - CHATAN]"
===========================================

Mat 24:36 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Mrk 13:32 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Mat 25:13 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1 Tes 5:2 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1 Tes 5:4 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Tentang tiupan SHOFAR, Rabbi Shaul menjelaskan:

1 Tes 4:16 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)
Sebab pada waktu tanda diberi, yaitu pada waktu penghulu malaikat berseru dan SANGKAKALA [SHOFAR] Elohim berbunyi, maka Tuhan sendiri akan turun dari sorga dan mereka yang mati dalam Mesias akan lebih dahulu bangkit;

1 Tes 4:17 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

NOTE:

1 Kor 15:51 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1 Kor 15:52 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

1.) Henokh mengalami "RAPTURE"
Kej 5:24 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

2.) Elia mengalami "RAPTURE"
2 Raj. 2:1 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

2 Raj. 2:10 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

3.) Filipus mengalami "RAPTURE"
Kis 8:39 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Kis 8:40 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

TAKE IT BY FORCE; CATCH UP; SNATCH AWAY".

ve.a.cha.rey-chen a.nach.nu ha.nish.a.rim ba.cha.yim NI.LA.KACH [נִלָּקַח] ve.na.a.le i.ma.hem yach.dav ba.a.na.nim lik.rat ha.Adon bir.kia ha.sha.ma.yim ve.chen ni.he.ye im-ha.Adon la.ne.tzach

Kata "[לָקַח - LAKACH]" artinya adalah: "TO TAKE". Sama halnya di dalam Kejadian 2:15:

Kej 2:15
va.yi.KACH ADONAI e.lo.him...

URUTAN KE-11: CHUPPAH "[חוּפָּה - CHUPPAH]"
=====================================

Bil 14:34 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

URUTAN KE12: PERJAMUAN KAWIN ANAK DOMBA
=========================================

Why 19:6 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)
Lalu aku mendengar seperti suara himpunan besar orang banyak, seperti desau air bah dan seperti deru guruh yang hebat, katanya: "Haleluya! Karena Tuhan, Elohim kita, Yang Mahakuasa, telah menjadi raja.

Why 19:7 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Why 19:8 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

Why 19:9 - Terjemahan Baru (TB-LAI)

B'ahavah.

BLOW THE SHOFAR

BLOW THE SHOFAR
Andre Widodo
© ORI

Shalom,

There are 4 types of SHOFAR blasts :

1. TEKIAH
2. SHEVARIM
3. TERUAH
4. TEKIAH HA'GADOLAH

In biblical times, the SHOFAR blast is used to proclaim the anointing of the NEW KING.

Now, what is the relation between the SHOFAR blast and the coming of the Lord?

1 Thes 4:16-17 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP [שׁוֹפָר - SHOFAR] of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thes 4:16-17 CJB
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s SHOFAR [שׁוֹפָר - SHOFAR]; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord.

The Lord will be coming at the blast of TEKIAH HA'GADOLAH.

The Wedding of The Lamb is not casual dinner

The Wedding of The Lamb is not casual dinner

© Talmid HaMashiach

Shalom,

Rev 19:9  KJV
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Rev 19:16  KJV
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17  KJV
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

If we dine at an elite restaurant, and their attire is a suit and a tie, the restaurant staffs, they will not let you in at the door with jeans and a T-shirt.

The same principle reflects spiritually.

The Bible warns us about the Wedding of the Lamb. He is God, the King of kings. Everyone who believes and accepts in His Son Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) as Savior, is invited to the Wedding of the Lamb. But few are willing to preparethemselves with : wedding clothes of righteousness.

Rev 19:7  KJV
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev 19:8  KJV
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

What is the righteousness?

Gen 15:6  KJV
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Psa 119:172  KJV
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Joh 16:8  KJV
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Eph 5:9  KJV
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Righteousness is God's Word; Righteousness is God's Commandment; Righteousness is the Spirit of God. Righteousness is Holy Spirit.

Among Messianic believers, we believe that Holy Spirit is the Living Torah. He writes the Torah in our hearts, not on the 2 tablets stone, but inwardly in our hearts.

This is our wedding clothes of righteousness.

We are not invited to a "casual dinner" party at Mc Donald's, but we are invited to a "Wedding of the King of kings". We have to be ready and prepare our lives before our Lord rapture us.

The Wedding of the Lamb is at hand!

Bamashiach Yeshua barukh hu. Amen.

Rapture is on Rosh HaShanah

Rosh HaShanah is known as the Jewish New Year. It is called as Yom Teruah or the Day of Trumpets (Shofars). The day when all the believers blow the 4th blast Tekiah HaGadolah.

Tekiah HaGadolah is : "the great Tekiah," a single unbroken blast, held as long as possible.

There are 4 types of Shofar blasts :

the Tekiah : the "blast," one long blast with a clear tone.
the Shevarim : a "broken," sighing sound of three short calls.
the Teruah : the "alarm," a rapid series of nine or more very short notes.
the Tekiah Gedolah : "the great Tekiah," a single unbroken blast, held as long as possible.

Usually, a combination of Tekiah, Shevarim, Teruah, is blasted and ending with a Tekiah Gedolah.

The Tekiah HaGadolah is for celebrating the coming of HaKohen HaGadol or the High Priest which is our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ).

From the Old Testament, the blowing of shofar is always related the coming presence of the Lord.

Exo 19:18 KJV
And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
Exo 19:19 KJV
And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

In the New Testament :

1Co 15:52 KJV
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Th 4:16 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

When is the Day when the last trumpet usually blown? Rosh HaShanah! It is a picture of Rapture.

Keep watching, we are now approaching the day of Rosh HaShanah.

Picture of Rapture in Tanakh

Shalom,

We know that we are already in the month of Elul in Biblical Calendar. The month of Elul is the month of selichot (forgiveness) and the month of teshuvah (repentance) before the great days of Rosh HaShanah (Yom Teruah), Yom Kippur and Sukkot in the month of Tishri.

Jewish Months

Beginning on the second day of Elul and continuing until Erev Rosh HaShanah (the night before Rosh HaShanah) the custom is to blow the shofar every day (except on t
he Shabbat).

Psalm 27 is often recited every day during this time as well.
The shofar is made of ram's horn. There are four primary types of shofar's blasts :

  1. Tekiah  - A long single blast (the sound of the King's coronation)
  2. Shevarim - Three short wail-like blasts (signifying repentance)
  3. Teru'ah - Nine staccato blasts of alarm (to awaken the soul)
  4. Tekiah HaGadol - A great long blast (for as long as you can blow!)
The general custom is to first blow tekiah, followed by shevarim, followed by teruah, and to close with tekiah hagadol.

Photobucket
To get better view about how to blow shofar's blast, let us see this :

Or you can click your mouse to speaker icon to hear each shofar's blast.

Listen to the Shofar (click speaker icon)

And
on Rosh HaShanah (Yom Teruah) the shofar is blasted at least 100 times during a typical Rosh HaShanah service, thus satisfying the commandment (Lev 23:24) to make Teru'ah (noise) on this day.

Lev 23:24  KJV
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

So according to Lev 23:24, in the seventh month which is the month of Tishri, in the first day of Tishri is the day of Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShanah). We blow the shofar.

If we hear the sound of shofar's blast, if we hear the blow of trumpets, what does it mean? Now, I want you to understand that in the Bible, the sound of shofar's blast or the sound of trumpets, it represents the presence of the LORD God Almighty.

Note :
Please notice the bold Words below.

Exo 19:16  KJV
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

Exo 19:19  KJV
And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
Exo 19:20  KJV
And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

When the voice of the trumpet sounded long, which is Tekiah HaGadol, the LORD came down, and Moses went up. The LORD came down and Moses went up. The LORD came down and Moses came up.

Do you get the picture? Do you get the idea?

This is talking about the Rapture!!!

In Brit Chadashah (The New Testament) Paul explained the same thing.

1Th 4:16  KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17  KJV
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

With the voice of archangel, with the trump of God, the Lord will come and the dead in Yeshua HaMashiach shall rise first, then we (the believers) who are still alive shall be caught up, shall be raptured.

Everytime in the Bible if there 're blast of trumpets, it will be followed by the coming of the Lord. It happened in Mount Sinai. It happened when Yeshua was born.

Luk 2:13  KJV
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

And finally it will be happening in the near future, the Rapture, the Blessed Hope.

Tit 2:13  KJV
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
While we are waiting for this Rapture, Paul reminded us to comfort each other with this hope. We have a hope, we have a blessed hope to see the Lord.

1Th 4:18  KJV
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

What should we do while we are waiting this blessed hope? As Moses told the people of Israel to sanctify themselves,

Exo 19:10  KJV
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

and as Paul also said to sanctify and blameless,

1Th 5:23  KJV
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

we must sanctify ourselves and make our spirit-soul-body blameless while we are waiting the coming of the Lord in Rapture. This month of Elul, is the time for selichot and teshuvah, it is the time for forgiveness and repentance.

Ask forgiveness to everbody, ask everybody to repent before the coming of the Lord. This was what John the Baptizer did before Yeshua show Himself to the public. And this is exactly the same thing what we should do before the Lord Yeshua comes down and His Bride comes up.

Keep in His Word, sanctify yourselves with His Word, and I pray so that you are all blameless in your spirit, soul and body.

Love in Yeshua HaMashiach,
Andre

Comparing The Pre Tribulation Rapture and The Jewish Wedding Tradition

Shalom,

First of all, I must say for the opponents of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, that they  fall short in consideration of several aspects in the study of eschatology. They fail to see the "big picture".

Consider this…when Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) walked with the apostles what was His main method of teaching?

He used parables!

Timeless stories relating to real life that would be applicable to all ages. Let's now take the next logical step in this progression of thought. Students tend to emulate their teachers. It only makes sense that the apostles, when relaying the Gospel, would use the same parables and possibly (as we will show) some of their own.

One of the best examples of this is the consistent referral to the Church being the Bride of Christ and Christ being the Bridegroom. When you compare the Jewish tradition of the marriage process and the Scriptural account of the Rapture the parallelism is uncanny.

It is remarkable!

The Jewish tradition of marriage is a several step process. At each step of the marriage process we will see the appropriate verses aligning with the doctrine of the Rapture.

First is the acquisition or purchase of the Bride. This is normally done by money, and the Bride must know the value of the purchase price, AND she can only be acquired with her consent.
(The Scripture here is numerous, salvation, the crucifixion etc.)

1Co 6:20  KJV
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1Co 7:23  KJV
Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
1Pe 1:18  KJV
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1Pe 1:19  KJV
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Secondly, the next part of the ceremony is when the bridegroom gives the wife a ketubah, or marriage contract. The ketubah spells out the bridegroom's obligations to the wife during marriage, conditions of inheritance upon his death, and much more.

Jer 31:31  KJV
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Joh 14:2  KJV
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3  KJV
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Thirdly, next comes the process of the marriage, the kiddushin and nisuin. The kiddushin (commonly translated as betrothal) occurs when the woman accepts the money. At that point the bride is the bridegroom's. The nisuin (from a word meaning "elevation") completes the marriage. In the past the kiddushin and the nisuin would routinely occur as much as one to two years apart.
(Again, look at the concepts of salvation and Christ's work on the cross, in regards to the waiting period)

Luk 5:33  KJV
And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
Luk 5:34  KJV
And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

Fourthly, following the kiddushin, the bridegroom will leave to prepare a home for the new family. Along with the new home, he is also preparing the chuppah or bridal chamber which is located in his father's house. There was always the risk that during this long period of separation, the woman would discover that she wanted to marry another.

Joh 14:1  KJV
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Joh 14:2  KJV
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3  KJV
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Joh 14:4  KJV
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

The other aspect of the ceremony between the kiddushin and nisuin is that the bride is to always remain ready as she does not know when her bridegroom will come for her.

2Co 11:2  KJV
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Mat 24:44  KJV
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Luk 12:40  KJV
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Apparently during this period the bride will also participate in the mikvah, which is a ritual immersion. Women are immersed for various reasons. This is an ancient Jewish practice dating back to the time of Moses.

Mat 3:11  KJV
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mat 3:15  KJV
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Take a note here is the bridesmaids. Tradition has the bridegroom arriving to collect his bride at night and the bride's unmarried friends who attend to the bride provide light for the groom who comes at night. This is a traditional custom for friends to light candles in the processional or during the veiling ceremony. (Matthew 25:1-13)

Also, the bridegroom does not know when he will return…only his father did. When the bridegroom's father is satisfied with the work on the new home and the chuppah done by the bridegroom will he release his son to gather up his bride…he does this with the sounding of trumpets. The groomsmen will run ahead fo the groom, sound the Shofar, and shout that he is coming. While the father's head is turned, the groom will steal his bride and carry her back to his father's house where he prepared the bridal chamber.

Mat 24:36  KJV
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Joh 3:29  KJV
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
1Th 4:13  KJV
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14  KJV
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15  KJV
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:18  KJV
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

At this point comes the Nisuin or ceremony. The word Nisuin also can mean "to lift up" or "carry".

Interesting isn't it?

The Nisuin is a symbolic of Rapture.

Lifting up the bride is an ancient wedding custom of carrying the bride to the ceremony in a carriage lifted by poles. Although seldom done today, the ceremony still bears the name. The Chuppah is not only related to the bridal chamber, it is also "lifted" by poles like the ancient carriage. Both the bride and groom are then lifted up in this processional.
1Th 4:18  KJV
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Following the ceremony the bride and groom enter the bridal chamber (chuppah) where the marriage is consummated. They remain in the chamber for 7 days.

Days are interchange with years.

Num 14:34  KJV
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

7 days are identical to 7 years which reminds us about 7 years Tribulation in the future. It is clearly shows that the Church will not be on the earth during 7 years Tribulation.

The party waits outside and rejoices until the groom tells the best man that is consummated. After 7 days is the wedding supper.
(Daniel 9:27 - 7 days, one week, Daniel's 70th week clearly showing the bride (the Church) will not be present for the Tribulation; Revelation 19:5-10)

At the completion of the marriage supper the bride and bridegroom would then depart for their new home.
(Revelation 19:11; Revelation 21)

In sum, what we have is the Lord, who provided us with the Scripture, speaking through the apostles and Christ Himself showing us the reliability of the concept of the Rapture.

Nothing is a coincidence. What is also significant is how the blowing of the trumpets in the marriage process following the "waiting period" aligns with the Feasts of Y-H-V-H found in Leviticus 23…in particular is the Feast of Trumpets in which the Shofar is blown as a "wake-up call" at the beginning of the feast.

Again, nothing is a coincidence.
