Husband And Wife, They Shall Be ONE FLESH In Marriage

Husband And Wife, They Shall Be ONE FLESH In Marriage

Shalom,

The first man, Adam named the Woman as Eve or in Hebrew is CHAVÂH (חוּה) which means LIFEGIVER, because "SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING".

Gen 3:20  KJV
And Adam called his wife's name EVE; because SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING.

The TORAH says that "THE MAN AND HIS WIFE, THEY WERE BOTH NAKED AND WERE NOT ASHAMED".

Gen 2:25
And THEY WERE BOTH NAKED, THE MAN AND HIS WIFE, AND WERE NOT ASHAMED.

This is the TORAH's view on sexuality. God doesn't see sex as something sinful, shameful or perverse. He made it. He designed it to be beautiful and fulfilling part of paradise. The TORAH says that husband and wife, when joined together in married are "ONE FLESH" or "LE VÂSÂR ‘ECHÂD".

Remember the word ‘ECHÂD in Hebrew means UNITED AS ONE. We can see in the SHEMÂ also :

Deu 6:4  KJV
Hear, O Israel: Y-H-V-H our God is one Y-H-V-H.
SHEMÂ YIŚRÂ’ÊL  ADONAI ‘ĒLOHÊINU ADONAI ‘ECHÂD

The word ONE FLESH in the Bible  means HUMAN BODY. This is amazing mystery of marriage. When a man and a woman are married, they are spiritually and physically UNITED or ‘ECHÂD. They become one new human body. Henceforth, neither one is complete without the other. That's why marriage can be so wonderful and that's why divorce is traumatic and tragic.

This also explains why sexual relationships outside of marriage are so damaging.

Heb 13:4  KJV
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

We are not designed for multiple partners. We are physically and spiritually designed for commited and monogamous relationship.

Once, Yeshua was asked about divorce.

Mat 19:3  KJV
The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
Mat 19:4  KJV
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, (Gen 1:27) that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 19:5  KJV
And said, (Gen 2:24) For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Mat 19:6  KJV
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Yeshua answered that although divorce is permissible by the TORAH, it is not the ideal and it is NOT supposed to happen.

Today is a common thing for people to go through several sexual partners before commiting to marriage. It is also common for marriages to end in divorce. BUT this is NOT God wants us to.

God wants us to experience and enjoy sexuality within a commited, monogamous marriage, just like Adam and Eve. When that happens, we will experience the joy of Eden. But when we take sex out of context, then we change it into something ugly and destructive.

When a husband and a wife are worthy, the Dwelling Presence of God abides with them. But when they are NOT worthy, fire consumes them.

The Hebrew word for MAN is ‘ÎSH (אישׁ) or  ALEPH-YOD-SHIN.
The Hebrew word for WOMAN is ‘ÎSHÂH (אשּׁה) or ALEPH-SHIN-HEY.

Both words have common letters and unique letters.

If we recombine the unique letters from the two words, taking the YOD (י) from ‘ÎSH (אישׁ) and HEY (ה) from ‘ÎSHÂH (אשּׁה), then the two letters will be YOD-HEY (יהּ) or YAH which is part of GOD's HOLY NAME.

And if we remove those unique letters from both words, it will change the word into 'ÊISH (אשׁ) ALEPH-SHIN which means FIRE.

MAN = ALEPH-YOD-SHIN.
WOMAN = ALEPH-SHIN-HEY.

MAN + WOMAN = (ALEPH-YOD-SHIN) + (ALEPH-SHIN-HEY) = YOD-HEY = YAH = GOD's HOLY NAME.

But if GOD's HOLY NAME is NOT there, MAN + WOMAN = ALEPH-SHIN which means FIRE.

So, when a marriage is godly and the marriage bed is kept pure, God is present with husband and wife. When a marriage is godless and the marriage bed is defiled, it is a consuming fire that will destroy both husband and wife.

Heb 13:4  KJV
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Keep and work your marriage holy together with God.

Baruch HaShem b'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach. Shalom

The TORAH is our WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING

The TORAH is our WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING

Shalom,

Deu 4:5  KJV
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Y-H-V-H my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
Deu 4:6  KJV
KEEP therefore and DO them; for this is your WISDOM and your UNDERSTANDING in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
Deu 4:7  KJV
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
Deu 4:8  KJV
And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
Deu 4:9  KJV
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

The word TORAH in Hebrew is ( תּורה ) TÔRÂH which means INSTRUCTION or LAW. Regarding the TORAH, Deutoronomy 4:6 says to us TO KEEP and TO DO, because with these acts, the TORAH will give us WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING.

Have you ever thought why in the history of Noble Prize Winners there are many Jewish descendants? And, have you ever asked ourselves, why is that?

It is because, His Word in Deutoronomy 4:6.

The word WISDOM in Hebrew is CHOKM
Â
H (חכמה), simply means : WISDOM; SKILL. The word UNDERSTANDING in Hebrew is BÎYNÂH (ִבּיָנה) which means : UNDERSTANDING; DISCERNMENT.

Example :
Some people, they smoke. They have the KNOWLEDGE that smoking can cause cancer. But they don't have UNDERSTANDING or even WISDOM. They just think that this won't affect them.

KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING and WISDOM.

Pro 2:6  KJV
For the Y-H-V-H giveth WISDOM: out of his mouth cometh KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING.

Col 1:9  KJV
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the KNOWLEDGE of his will in all WISDOM and spiritual UNDERSTANDING;
The TORAH is our WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING; KEEP IT and DO IT. YESHUA is THE LIVING TORAH. HE is our WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. KEEP HIM and OBEY HIM.

The Name of YESHUA in the book of Isaiah

The Name of YESHUA in the book of Isaiah

Shalom,

Behold, GOD (EL - אל) is my SALVATION (YESHUA - ישׁוּעה). I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD (YAH - יהּ) Y-H-V-H (ADONAI - יהוה) is my Strength and my Song; He also is become my SALVATION (YESHUA - ישׁוּעה).
(Isa 12:2)

Isaiah, the prophet, says that Y-H-V-H has become his YESHUA (SALVATION).

It reminds us of Matthew 1:21.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name YESHUA (ישׁוּע). for He shall save His people from their sins. (Mat 1:21)

Why was it 153 fishes?

Why was it 153 fishes?
Andre Widodo
© Talmid HaMashiach

Shalom,

Joh 21:10  KJV
Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
Joh 21:11  KJV
Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
Joh 21:12  KJV
Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Why was it 153 fish? Does 153 have a meaning?

We know that Yeshua (Jesus) is a Jew. He is the Jewish Messiah. In Hebrew alphabet, each letter has a numerical value.

You must see each Hebrew letter and its numerical value.

Now let us see why it is 153 fish.

The sentence : I AM GOD in Hebrew is ANI [
אני] ELOHIM [אלהים].
In Hebrew letter אני -
אלהים

If we count the numerical value of ANI ELOHIM, we will find the number 153.

Hallelu-Yah! Baruch HaShem b'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach.

To Love - AHAVAH (אַהבה) Is To Keep - SHAMAR (שׁמר)

To Love - AHAVAH (אַהבה)  Is To Keep - SHAMAR (שׁמר)
Andre Widodo

Shalom,

Gal 6:2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the Torah of Messiah.

What is the TORAH OF MESSIAH?

The TORAH OF MESSIAH is the conclusion of the TORAH OF MOSES. The heart of the TORAH OF MOSES is :

Deu 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
Deu 6:5
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deu 6:6
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart.

The TORAH OF MESSIAH is : TO LOVE - AHAVAH and TO KEEP - SHAMAR.

Mat 22:37
Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38
This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Joh 14:15
If ye LOVE me, KEEP my commandments.
Joh 14:21

He that HATH my commandments, and KEEPETH them, he it is that LOVETH me: and he that LOVETH me shall be LOVED of my Father, and I will LOVE him, and will manifest myself to him.
Joh 14:23
Yeshua answered and said unto him, If a man LOVE me, he will KEEP my words: and my Father will LOVE him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Joh 15:10
If ye KEEP my commandments, ye shall abide in my LOVE; even as I have KEPT my Father's commandments, and abide in his LOVE.
Joh 15:12
This is my commandment, That ye LOVE one another, as I have LOVED you.
Joh 15:17
These things I command you, that ye LOVE one another.
1Jn 3:11
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should LOVE one another.

1Jn 3:18
My little children, let us NOT LOVE  in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in TRUTH.

What is TRUTH?

Psa 119:142
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and THY TORAH is the TRUTH.

Joh 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD is TRUTH.

1Jn 5:2
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we LOVE God, and KEEP his commandments.

1Jn 5:3
For this is the LOVE of God, that we KEEP his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

2Jn 1:6
And this is LOVE, that we WALK AFTER his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Remember :

1Jn 2:6
He that saith he ABIDETH in him OUGHT himself also so TO WALK, even as he WALKED.
1Jn 2:7
Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

The Deception of Santa Claus and Christmas

The Deception of Santa Claus and Christmas
Andre Widodo
© Talmid HaMashiach

Shalom,

Everybody knows this famous picture. He always appear in the 25 December of Christmas. He is SANTA CLAUS.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Who is he really?

SANTA CLAUS, also known as SAINT NICHOLAS, Father Christmas, or simply "SANTA", is a figure which was was derived from the Dutch figure of SINTERKLAAS, a mythological figure who in many Western cultures, is said to bring gifts to the homes of the good children during the late evening and overnight hours of Christmas Eve, December 24.

What does the Bible say about SANTA CLAUS / SAINT NICHOLAS? What did our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) say about SAINT NICHOLAS?

Rev 2:6  KJV
But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Rev 2:15  KJV
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

NICOLAITANS was an ancient sect whose deeds were expressly and strongly reprobate. Some have supposed that they were the followers of Nicolas (Act 6:5), one of the first deacons of the church, whom they regard as having apostatized from the true faith.

Act 6:5  KJV
And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch.

Since "Nicolaos" means "victor of the people" and "Balaam" means "devourer of the people", the two in symbolic unity signify religious seducers of the people. It is more probable that the Nicolaitans were identical with those who held the doctrine of Balaam, mentioned in Rev 2:14 and in  2Pe 2:15, so that likely the Nicolaitans practiced fornication and the eating of things sacrificed to idols while outwardly professing Christianity.

Rev 2:14  KJV
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

2Pe 2:15  KJV
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

So, from the Bible, if we hear the word NICOLAITANS, it always refers to FORNICATIONS and IDOLATRY.

SANTA CLAUS / SAINT NICHOLAS refers to spritual FORNICATIONS and a picture of IDOLATRY.

How can it be?

First, we must understand that the CHRISTMAS celebration in 25 December came from pagan custom worshiping the Roman Empire sun god, SOL INVICTUS. Constantine, the Roman king, established this practicing in the year 321 AD and changes the rest day from SHABBAT (the 7th day) to DIES SOLIS, the day of the sun which is SUNDAY.

For details please visit this site :
SOL INVICTUS

The day of the birth of SOL INVICTUS was called DIES NATALIS SOLIS INVICTI means "the birthday of the unconquered sun" or possibly "anniversary of the consecration of the temple of the unconquered sun".

Today we know this day as NATAL or CHRISTMAS. And guess, who is the famous actor behind CHRISTMAS? It is SANTA CLAUS.

Today SANTA CLAUS is generally depicted as a plump, jolly, white-bearded man wearing a red coat with white collar. In the Bible, who is he that always be described as great red?

Rev 12:3  KJV
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

It is SATAN!

A well-known folk legend associated with SANTA CLAUS says that he lives in the far north, in a land of perpetual snow. The American version of SANTA CLAUS says that he lives at his house on the North Pole. In the Bible, who is he that always be described lives in the north?

Isa 14:13  KJV
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

It is SATAN!

So, do you think that as Believers in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) we are suppose to celebrate this pagan custom?

2Co 6:14  KJV
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co 6:15  KJV
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Co 6:16  KJV
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17  KJV
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Co 6:18  KJV
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Be SEPARATED, be HOLY, then The Almighty God will receive us, and we shall be HIS people.

We are called NOT to celebrate CHRISTMAS, but we are called to follow Yeshua (Jesus). Yeshua (Jesus) did NOT celebrate CHRISTMAS, but He celebrated CHANUKAH.

Joh 10:22  KJV
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
Joh 10:23  KJV
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

So let us follow Him to celebrate CHANUKAH from 25 Kislev - 3 Tevet 5771 (1 December 2010 - 9 December 2010).

Barukh HaShem, b'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach.

Parashat Toldot - Good News To The Barren Women

Parashat Toldot ("Generations") - Good News To The Barren Women
Andre Widodo
© ORI

Shalom,

This week in the Torah Portion (Parashat) is Parashat Toldot ("Generations") and is taken from :

Torah : Genesis 25:19 - Genesis 28:9.
Haftarah : Malachi 1:1 - Malachi 2:7.
Brit Chadashah : Romans 9:1-31.

Gen 25:19
And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:
Gen 25:20
And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
Gen 25:21
And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Let us study Genesis 25:21.
Gen 25:21
And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Gen 25:21

Gen 25:21
va.ye.tar yits.khak la.a.do.nai le.no.khakh ish.to ki a.ka.ra hiv va.ye.a.ter lo a.do.nai va.ta.har riv.ka ish.to

The word INTREATED (ENTREAT) in verse 21 sometimes always be thought as PRAYED. But if we look at the Hebrew word, it has deeper meaning.

The word INTREATED (ENTREAT) in Hebrew is ATAR (עְתַּ֨ר) which means : TO PRAY, TO ENTREAT, TO SUPPLICATE. The fundamental meaning of this word is that of A CRY TO THE LORD FOR DELIVERANCE.

This word ATAR
(עְתַּ֨ר) was used in Isaac's prayer concerning his wife's barrenness (Gen 25:21); and the prayers of Moses to stop the plagues in Egypt (Exo 8:8).

Exo 8:8
Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

Scripture says that the LORD is faithful to hear such prayers (Job 33:26).

Job 33:26
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Amen?

So the Good News to all the barren women is, our God is Faithful God. He listens to every prayer. Look at Abraham, look at Isaac, look at Jacob etc. There are many proofs of the barren women become pregnant and get children.

Remember, the nation of Israel today is from a barren woman Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel. Our God, Y-H-V-H can makes a barren woman to laugh. And the key is : ATAR
(עְתַּ֨ר);  A CRY TO THE LORD FOR DELIVERANCE, especially from the priest of the family, the husband.

Barukh HaShem b'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach.
