Shabbat Kumi Ori
"שבת קומי אורי Shabbat Kumi Ori" is the 6th Shabbat of "7 Shabbats of Comfort" leading up to Rosh Ha'Shanah. This 6th Shabbat takes its name from the haftarah portion of the Book of Isaiah 60:1 that speaks of "comforting" the Jewish people from their suffering. It speaks of the reconciliation process of the Jewish people with Ha'Shem, it prophecies of the reconciliation process of the Jewish people and the Jewish Mashiach, before High Holidays in the month of Tishri.
It is the 6th haftarah of 7 haftarot (haftarahs) of consolation leading up to the holiday of Rosh Ha'Shanah, the Jewish New Year.
Shabbat Kumi Ori begins at sundown on Friday, 4 September 2015.
