IMAM BESAR SESUNGGUHNYA - PARASHAH KI TISA

Keluaran 32:21-24
21 Lalu berkatalah Moshe kepada Aharon: "Apakah yang dilakukan bangsa ini kepadamu, sehingga engkau mendatangkan dosa yang sebesar itu kepada mereka?"
22 Tetapi jawab Aharon: "Janganlah bangkit amarah tuanku; engkau sendiri tahu, bahwa bangsa ini jahat semata-mata.
23 Mereka berkata kepadaku: Buatlah untuk kami ilah, yang akan berjalan di depan kami sebab Moshe ini, orang yang telah memimpin kami keluar dari tanah Mesir--kami tidak tahu apa yang telah terjadi dengan dia.
24 Lalu aku berkata kepada mereka: Siapa yang empunya emas haruslah menanggalkannya. Mereka memberikannya kepadaku dan aku melemparkannya ke dalam api, dan keluarlah anak lembu ini."

Presto...apakah Aharon sebagai IMAM BESAR [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] sudah bersikap jujur?

Aharon, IMAM BESAR [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] pertama dari bangsa Israel (di dalam Perjanjian Sinai), ironisnya justru orang pertama yang menyebabkan bangsa Israel jatuh ke dalam dosa penyembahan berhala (Keluaran 32:35).

Demikianlah ADONAI menulahi bangsa itu, karena mereka telah menyuruh membuat anak lembu buatan Aharon itu.

Sebenarnya jika bicara jujur, tidak ada seorang-pun yang bisa menjabat sebuah jabatan sebagai IMAM BESAR [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] dengan sempurna tanpa cela.

IMAM BESAR [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] di dalam Torah, sebenarnya adalah sebuah gambaran dari seorang IMAM BESAR [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] yang sempurna, bukan dari manusia yang fana, tetapi Mashiach sendiri, seperti dijelaskan oleh seorang anak didik R' Gamli'El, yaitu R' Shaul:

Sebab IMAM BESAR yang kita punya, bukanlah IMAM BESAR yang tidak dapat turut merasakan kelemahan-kelemahan kita, sebaliknya sama dengan kita, Ia telah dicobai, hanya tidak berbuat dosa.

Ibrani 5:1
Sebab setiap IMAM BESAR, yang dipilih dari antara manusia, ditetapkan bagi manusia dalam hubungan mereka dengan Elohim, supaya ia mempersembahkan persembahan dan korban karena dosa.

IMAM BESAR yang dijelaskan di dalam Torah adalah gambaran dari Yeshua sebagai Mashiach, yaitu IMAM BESAR yang sempurna.

21 Moshe said to Aharon, “What did these people do to you to make you lead them into such a terrible sin?” 
22 Aharon replied, “My lord shouldn’t be so angry. You know what these people are like, that they are determined to do evil. 
23 So they said to me, ‘Make us gods to go ahead of us; because this Moshe, the man that brought us up from the land of Egypt — we don’t know what has become of him.’ 
24 I answered them, ‘Anyone with gold, strip it off!’ So they gave it to me. I threw it in the fire, and out came this calf!”

Presto...was Aharon being honest?

Aharon, Israel's first HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] of the Sinai Covenant was the one who made Israel's first idol (Exodus 32:35).

ADONAI struck the people with a plague because they had made the calf, the one Aharon made.

To be honest to say, actually there is no man on Earth that is able to do the duty of HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] perfectly without any defect.

The HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] in the Torah, is actually a shadow of the true HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] of the Kingdom of Heaven, who is perfect, without any defect, without sin, that is the Mashyach Himself, as the student of R' Gamli'El (R' Shaul) used to say:

For we do not have a COHEN GADOL unable to empathize with our weaknesses; since in every respect he was tempted just as we are, the only difference being that he did not sin.

For every COHEN GADOL taken from among men is appointed to act on people’s behalf with regard to things concerning G-d, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

The true HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] in the Torah, is actually the true HIGH PRIEST [כהן גדול - COHEN HA'GADOL] of the Kingdom of Heaven, who is perfect, without any defect, without sin, that is the Mashiach Himself, Yeshua.
