YESHUA IS THE LIVING TORAH

Shalom,

Psa 40:7 KJV
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Psa 40:8 KJV
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy LAW [תֹרָה - TORAH] is within my heart.

Psa 40:7 CJB
so then I said, "Here I am! I'm coming! In the scroll of a book it is written about me
Psa 40:8 CJB
Doing your will, my God, is my joy; your TORAH is in my inmost being.

What is Psa 40:7-8 talking about?

It says :
1.)
In verse 7, "the book (TANAKH SCROLL) is written about Him".  Who is "Him" in verse 7?

Psa 40:7 KJV
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Joh 5:39 KJV
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

2.)
In verse 8, "I delight to do thy will, O my God"

Psa 40:8 KJV
I delight to do thy will, O my God:

Joh 4:34 KJV
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

3.)
Still in verse 8, "thy LAW [תֹרָה - TORAH] is within my heart".

Psa 40:8 KJV
...thy LAW [תֹרָה - TORAH] is within my heart

Joh 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY , the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Yeshua is the WAY [HA'DERECH], the TRUTH [HA'EMET], and the LIFE [HA'CHAIM]. In Joh 14:6, Yeshua addressed Himsel as the TORAH, because the TORAH is the WAY [HA'DERECH], the TRUTH [HA'EMET], and the LIFE [HA'CHAIM].

The WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE

Yeshua is the TORAH. He said in Joh 10:35 :

Joh 10:35 KJV
...and the scripture cannot be broken

The Scripture cannot be broken. The TORAH cannot be broken. And so He is. None of His bone had been broken.

Num 9:12 KJV
...nor break any bone of it:...

Joh 19:36 KJV
that the scripture should be fulfilled , A bone of him shall not be broken

MASHIACH is the LIVING TORAH. YESHUA is the LIVING TORAH. Psa 40:8 says, "TORAH is in His heart", because He is the LIVING TORAH. Joh 10:35 says, "the TORAH cannot be broken", because He knows His bone will not be broken.

That's why Yeshua said in Mat 5, that He did NOT come to destroy the TORAH, but to make the TORAH complete, to show to us how to live the TORAH.

Mat 5:17 KJV
Think not that I am come to destroy the LAW [תֹרָה - TORAH], or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 KJV
or verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law [תֹרָה - TORAH], till all be fulfilled.

Mat 5:19 KJV
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Now...let us look to another verse.

Psa 138:2 KJV
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy NAME for thy lovingkindness and for thy TRUTH: for thou hast magnified thy WORD above all thy NAME.

And Yochanan, the talmidim says,

Joh 1:14 KJV
And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Who is the WORD in Psa 138:2? He is the WORD who was made flesh in Joh 1:14.

When someone speaks, his/her word is part of him/her, because in his/her word reflects who the speaker really is. Isn't that correct?

You are what you speak in your word.

So, when God speaks, His WORD is part of Him, because His WORD reflects who God really is. And the WORD became flesh 2000 years ago, Yochanan, the talmidim recorded in John 1:14. God is what He speaks in His WORD.

And this proves the deity of Yeshua, the WORD.

Pro 13:13 KJV
Whoso despiseth the WORD shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Pro 13:14 KJV

The Law [תֹרָה - TORAH] of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Before I finish this short article, I want to share something to open your minds :

God gave the TORAH to Israel. But, God was angered at Israel because of Israel's disregard of the TORAH, so what was His solution?

His solution was to send His Son to get rid of the same TORAH.

What? Is it possible? Of course NOT!!!

The theology who teaches that the Law [תֹרָה - TORAH] has been nailed is a FALSE theology. Don't be part of it.
